There are agencies in each country who will get a Russian Visa for you if you do not wish to go the Embassy yourself.

Concerning help with visa and hotel see attached files. We all should pay the conference fee since we have big conference expenses for renting conference rooms (for East-European countries the conference fee will be 100 Euros (if paid before April 1st), 125 Euros (if paid before June 1^st) and 150 Euros if paid thereafter June 1^st. For Western countries the conference fee will be 200 Euros (if paid before April 1st), 250 Euros (if paid before June 1^st) and 300 Euros if paid thereafter June 1^st). Buffet arrangements and refectory meals are available at modest prices (4 Euros ñ breakfast, 7 Euros ñ lunch, 6 Euros ñ dinner). Rooms range from 30 ñ 60 Euros a night with possible small rising due to inflation (double room or single room). Please book the room you need in advance. You need to pay for room when youíll arrive in foreign currency or in roubles (must be in cash!). The conference hotel is just about 100 meters from the main conference building. Please specified, if you need some special equipment for your presentation (slide projector, computer projector, mike, overhead projector, CD player, tape player, DVD player, etc). We will try to arrange what we can.

Best airport to arrive: Sheremetyevo-2 Moscow International airport. Taxi from the airport to the Conference place costs around $40-50.

We will start the most pre-conference workshops from Monday, June 20^th and will finish next day, Tuesday, June 21^st at about 8 p.m. or Wednesday, June 22^nd depending from your situation. Wednesday, June 22^nd you can spend sightseeing and enjoying Moscow and, if you are the national EUROTAS delegate, you can attend at EUROTAS delegate meeting at 6 p.m. The Conference will finish Sunday night after The Spirit of the Europe celebration. You can have some evening Moscow sightseeing instead of night Conference performance (on a private basis), or arrange for that some days after the Conference. Also Gennady Brevde will lead post-conference group to Saint-Petersburg and Evgueny Faydych and Andrey Gostev will lead some one-day tour on Russian Orthodox church holy places.

We are still receiving proposals for the workshops and presentations. During conference we will organize signing up for the announced workshops and if a workshop will not have sufficient people (less then 5 people signed) it will be cancelled like it was in London. So, to help people to understand your presentation, please send us clear summary of your presentation and bio. It is obviously a sadness and a difficulty for people if they do not present and we will help you as much as possible to connect you with your potential students, but the Conference resources are very limited and we should also save money (around 100 Euros for each workshop room and from 40 till 150 Euros for additional equipments).

Also, current preliminary program is a draft, almost every day we're receiving new information (proposals, questions, comments, etc.) concerning the contents & format of the Conference events & making the adequate changes. The detailed (but, we foresee, not final) program description with particular schedule & titles will not appear before the middle of May.
